A Top Tennis Facility in Atlanta
The Manor Tennis Center features 16 tennis courts comprised of six hard, six clay, and four indoor courts.
The staff caters to all ages and levels, with multiple instructors offering private lessons, group instruction, and clinics for kids and adults. There is even a Beginner Tennis Clinic that promises to help adults learn to play and enjoy the game of tennis in just three weeks. Plus, for players who want to see their game from a different perspective, The Manor Tennis Center has the ability to show you a video analysis of your latest match.
The staff promotes ALTA and USTA leagues while also conducting tournaments, round-robin events, and competitive matches. In addition, there is a fully-stocked Pro Shop for the latest gear.

Orange / Green Dot. Intermediate to advanced. Targets players who demonstrate a talent for competitive match play. This group is committed to achieving a state / national ranking. Ages 8 – 12.

Mighty Mites
A fun introduction for young tennis players. four children per class. Develop hand-eye coordination and listening skills. Ages 4 – 5.
Future Stars
Children are grouped according to ability, to develop techniques for ground strokes, volley and serves along with basic body movement and footwork. Ages 6 – 9.
Junior Development
Players learn basic tennis skills that include stroke technique, court awareness and scorekeeping. Ages 10 – 15.

Alejandro Garcia
Senior Director of Racquet Sports
Alejandro Garcia joined The Manor Golf and Country Club in August 2009 and currently serves as Senior Director of Racquet Sports. He oversees racquet operations across three clubs, leading a team of over 30 professionals. Under his leadership, The Manor’s tennis program has been recognized nationally as a Team of Excellence. Alejandro serves as a National Ambassador for Arcis Golf, representing and supporting racquet sports initiatives across the country.
Alejandro is dedicated to growing member participation by promoting high-caliber private and group instruction, dynamic junior development programs—from beginners to nationally ranked players—competitive tournaments, and ALTA and USTA league play.
Before joining The Manor, Alejandro served as Director of Tennis at TCA/Midtown Athletic Club in Atlanta from 2005 to 2009, where he led a successful team of ten professionals and fostered a positive, high-performance culture.
A former collegiate standout, Alejandro was an All-American in both singles and doubles at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, where he also served as Assistant Coach. He earned his degree in Business Finance and continues to apply his leadership and business acumen to grow and innovate racquet sports programming.
Originally from Venezuela, Alejandro was ranked among the top 5 players nationally and top 35 in South America during his junior career.

Javier Blanco

Head Tennis Professional
Javier Blanco joined The Manor Golf and Country Club in September 2009 and serves as Head Tennis Professional. Working closely with the Senior Director of Racquet Sports, Javier helps guide the continued growth and success of The Manor’s tennis program. His current focus includes expanding both the adult and junior programs while introducing new junior tournaments to the club.
Before joining The Manor, Javier served as Head Tennis Professional at TCA/Midtown Athletic Club in Atlanta from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, he spent over 14 years in Florida as Assistant Tennis Director at the Extreme Tennis Academy and the Nick Bollettieri International Tennis Academy, where he worked with world-class players such as Maria Sharapova and Alexandra Stevenson.
Originally from Venezuela, Javier was ranked among the top 10 juniors nationally and has been a USPTR Certified Professional since 1992.

Vitek Wild

Vitek Wild joined The Manor Golf and Country Club in August 2011 and brings over 25 years of teaching experience to the program. He works with players of all ages and levels—from juniors to adults—and specializes in developing high-performance athletes. He also enjoys coaching adult team practices.
From 2006 to 2010, Vitek taught alongside Alejandro Garcia and Javier Blanco at TCA/Midtown Athletic Club in Atlanta, forming a partnership that has now spanned more than 20 years.
Originally from Prague, Czech Republic, Vitek achieved a junior world ranking through the International Tennis Federation (ITF). He played collegiate tennis at Bowling Green State University, where he still holds the record for most combined singles and doubles wins. Fun fact: Vitek was Alejandro’s doubles partner when they won the USTA 5.0 National Championship in 2011.

Gustavo Anzola
Master Tennis Professional
Gustavo Anzola joined The Manor Golf and Country Club in August 2014 and focuses on the growth of both the Junior and Adult programs during afternoons and evenings.
Originally from Venezuela, Gustavo was a nationally ranked junior player and earned a scholarship to play collegiate tennis at the University of Tennessee. After graduation, he coached at the Tennis Academy of the South and Nike Tennis Camps, working with nationally ranked players, before serving as Tennis Director at Windermere from 2008 to 2014. At Windermere, he led a team of four staff members and guided several USTA and ALTA adult teams to division, city, and state championships.
Gustavo brings extensive tennis knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to The Manor and is a proud member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA).

Alida Jakovenko

Master Professional
Alida joined The Manor Golf and Country Club in August 2017. She assists the Director of Tennis with the growth of the Adult Tennis Program in the mornings and the High Performance Junior Academy in the afternoons
With over 13 years of coaching experience, Alida previously served as the Assistant Coach for the University of Buffalo Women’s Tennis Team for two years. In addition to her collegiate coaching background, she has extensive experience teaching 10 and Under Tennis, as well as developing junior and adult players of all levels.
Originally from Timișoara, Romania, Alida began playing tennis at age seven and quickly became one of the top junior players in her country. She went on to compete on the WTA Tour, reaching a career-high singles ranking inside the top 300 in the world. Alida was later recruited by Florida State University, where she played #1 Singles and Doubles during her collegiate career.
Today, Alida continues to share her love for the game not only with her players, but also with her two daughters, Emma and Maia, whom she has coached since they were three years old.

Edina Gallovits-Hall
Director of High Performance
Edina is a former professional tennis player from Romania. Her career highest singles ranking of No. 54 WTA was achieved in April 2008. She has competed in the Main Draw of all 4 Grand Slams and has made it to the 2nd round in all of them. In March 2010 she reached the semifinals of singles in Acapulco, Mexico losing in 3 sets to Venus Williams. She had victories over numerous top players like Roland Garros finalist Sara Errani, US Open semifinalist Angelique Kerber, World No.1 doubles player Roberta Vinci, US Open Champion Samantha Stosur and former No.1 Jelena Jankovic. On the ITF circuit she has won 18 singles and 12 doubles titles. As a junior she reached a career high of No. 7 ITF. In 2000, she won Eddie Herr International Championships and made the final of the prestigious Orange Bowl Championships losing to Vera Zvonareva.
Edina has coached professional tennis players such as Melanie Oudin, Cici Bellis, Louisa Chirico and Ellie Halbauer. She has also coached numerous college tennis players including former top 10 national junior player Carly Briggs.

Jack Sorel
Tennis Professional
Jack joined The Manor Golf and Country Club team in May 2023. A former collegiate tennis player from Atlanta, GA, Jack competed at both Kennesaw State University and Georgia College and State University.
He began playing tennis at age nine and quickly developed into one of the top juniors in the nation, achieving a career-high ranking of No. 8 in the country.
With over four years of coaching experience at various clubs throughout the Atlanta area, Jack specializes in working with high-performance juniors while also contributing to adult programming. He brings a wealth of knowledge, energy, and passion to The Manor Tennis community, helping players of all ages elevate their game.

Marcos Ondruska
Master Tennis Professional
Marcos joined The Manor Golf and Country Club in December 2023 and brings with him an extraordinary background as a former professional tennis player from South Africa. Over his 15-year playing career, Marcos achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 27 and a doubles ranking of No. 32
His accomplishments include competing in over 40 Grand Slam tournaments, highlighted by reaching the Round of 16 in singles at the Australian Open. Marcos proudly represented South Africa in the Davis Cup from 1994 to 2001 and competed in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
Following his playing career, Marcos transitioned seamlessly into coaching, helping guide several professional players—most notably assisting Jennifer Capriati during her run to the semifinals of the 2004 US Open. As Davis Cup Captain for South Africa from 2015 to 2021, he led the team through multiple division promotions. Marcos has also been a featured presenter at the PTR Symposium, sharing his expertise with coaches worldwide
Now focused on player development at the club level, Marcos continues to make a meaningful impact by mentoring high-performance juniors toward college Division I scholarships and helping adult players advance their skills and ratings. His passion for teaching, combined with his vast experience, makes him a valued leader within The Manor Tennis community.

Maya Mammetgulyyeva
USPTR Certified Professional
Master Professional
Maya joined The Manor Golf and Country Club in November 2018. She assists the Director of Tennis with a variety of programs and has extensive experience as an independent instructor, coaching private sessions that have led her students to victories in intermediate high school and ALTA kids matches. Her primary focus is junior development. Previously, Maya contributed to summer tennis camps at Brenau University and Chattahoochee County Club.
Maya’s coaching philosophy emphasizes attention to fundamental details that make a significant difference on the court. She focuses on proper footwork, grip, and style development, while teaching players the importance of tactical concepts such as “weapons” and patience during match play.
A former collegiate tennis player, Maya achieved a 17–2 record at Fresno City College and competed in the top three lineups at Brenau University for all three years in NAIA competition. She was also selected to the NAIA All-Conference Southern States First Team each year of her collegiate career.
Pau Pujadas
Tennis Professional
Pau joined The Manor Golf and Country Club in September 2024. Originally from Barcelona, Spain, Pau is a former collegiate tennis player who competed for Reinhardt University, helping the team capture the 2019 Appalachian Athletic Conference Championship and achieve a program-best national ranking of No. 2.
He began playing tennis at the age of four and reached a career-high junior ranking of No. 16 in Spain. With over four years of coaching experience at premier clubs in both the Atlanta area and New York, Pau specializes in training high-performance juniors as well as adult players seeking to refine their skills.
Pau brings professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication to his coaching, with a strong commitment to helping players reach their full potential and continuously improve both on and off the court.
